Yasaman grew up in Temecula, CA where she learned the art of keeping herself busy in a small suburban town.

She has an MS in Psychology and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Yasaman has worked with organizations such as America Reads Challenge (teaching K-12 children reading skills) and the Center for Human Services. She now works at Autism Spectrum Therapies, a non-public agency based in LA, serving the needs of children diagnosed with Pervasive Developmental Disorders.

Yasaman would like to see more Iranians involved in the field of Autism, as well as in various community service projects: “I am one of the fortunate people who can say that I love what I do, and I can’t imagine doing anything else!” She also wants to “unite the Iranian community by common interests and philosophies as well as highlight our shared differences in order to learn from oneother.”
