Incidentally, the forum was closed because of abuse by outsiders who insisted

It's official...
Humor for Humanity raised $7100 in ticket sales and donations. Expenses
totaled $3000. So $4100 has been donated through the National Iranian
American Council's "Iranian-American Katrina Relief Fund" and
other organizations such as the American Red Cross. Namak and our cosponsors
thank all those who attended the comedy night and the volunteers who gave
their time for such a great cause. We could not have done it with out
you! |

HUMOR
FOR HUMANITY is a HUGE success!!!! Nearly 400 people packed
the Comedy Store in Hollywood, CA last night to watch a fantastic lineup
of comedians, and contribute to hurricane relief efforts. Namak magazine
organized and hosted the event, which was cosponsored with the Iranian
American Bar Association and Kayla Beverly Hills. The capacity crowd enjoyed
food generously donated by Rahbar catering during a reception proceeding
the event. Several news media covered the show, which was designed to
help Katrina victims while showing the Iranian community in a positive
light. |

HUMOR
FOR HUMANITY announced! Namak magazine and the Iranian American
Bar Association will be hosting a night of comedy to benefit hurricane
victims. A fantastic lineup of comics will perform at the world famous
Comedy Store on Sunday Oct. 16. ALL
proceeds from the event will go to the American Red Cross. Check back
