Namak aims to:
1. INVIGORATE, ENTERTAIN and EDUCATE Iranians throughout the world.
2. CELEBRATE a rich cultural tradition and its modern iterations in the Iranian Diaspora.
3. Provide positive images of Iranians (so rare in mainstream media) and GIVE VOICE to a community whose concerns have gone largely unaddressed.
4. UNITE diverse segments of our community, and bridge gaps between us and the larger society in which we live.
Namak is a non-political, non-religious publication. We stand against any ideology or social structure that splinters the Iranian community internally or separates us from other groups.
We strive to bring people together through vivid photography, intriguing design and compelling editorial.
